As your FMS provider, Alliance will support you with your employer responsibilities related to hiring and managing your own staff. We will assist you with purchasing any goods and services you choose to support you at home and in the community and will take care of all financial management tasks so you can enjoy the freedom and flexibility that self-direction provides.

Consumer Directed Community Support (CDCS)
CDCS gives you the ability to direct your services and supports in a way that works best for you. Alliance works with you to design the services that fit your assessed needs. You hire people you want to deliver those services, and have the ability to buy other supports like assistive technology and home or vehicle modifications. Alliance provides you with on-going support to ensure worker payments and payroll taxes are taken care of on your behalf.
Consumer Support Grant (CSG) *Will be replaced by CFSS
The CSG program is a state-funded alternative to Medicaid homecare services like home health aide, personal care assistance (PCA), and private duty nursing. With CSG, you get to customize how you receive care, including the people from whom you receive it. In addition to the usual homecare providers, parents, spouses, family members, friends, and neighbors can also be compensated for these services, often allowing for a greater sense of connection in the process. CSG will begin phasing out as of 10/1/24 and will be replaced by CFSS service options.
Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) Budget Model
CFSS offers flexible options, more choice, and control over your care, allowing for greater independence in your home and community. CFSS replaces Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant (CSG) services. In the CFSS Budget Model option, as the participant employer you be responsible to recruit, hire, train and supervise your support workers, with the help of Alliance as your FMS.
